We know that people still use dial-up internet connections, with slower data transmission speeds, especially in Ontario's more remote areas.
So, we continue to do something different to make loading on your equipment quicker - and right for you!
HI-RES takes full advantage of high speed connections. Ads appear full size and look great when printed (RGB- 600dpi- 700x917pixels).
LO-RES takes less time to display multiple advertisement pages, but don't print as clearly (8-bit Paletted- 120dpi- 380x502pixels). However, if your computer's display settings are 800x600, the images do appear sharp and readable. And, you can always access HI-RES IMAGES by clicking on any LO-RES IMAGES being displayed.
Many people have also asked us, with newer technological capabilities, WHY we don't have Flash and chat functions. Again, speed is our main concern when serving Bingo Player Magazine online. Many Players, both in dial-up areas and on broadband high-speed, have all expressed, out-loud and in writing, that they appreciate "how fast our pages load". Since that's most important, we'll keep things familiar and fast, for now!
